Longmont Memorial Rose Garden
The Longmont Memorial Rose Garden was started in 1945 by the Longmont
Lions Club and is dedicated to veterans of all wars. In 1952 the garden
was placed on the National Recognition Listing and became an
All-American Rose Selection Public Garden. There are now about
1,400 rose bushes in this garden.
If you wish to visit this garden, it is located at the 700 Block
of Bross Street, Longmont, Colorado.

Here are some images of roses from these gardens, taken in July,
1995. The first group of eight roses are Hybrid Teas and Floribundas.
I'm afraid I couldn't find any identification for the first rose.
Then there is the climber Don Juan.
The last four are shrubs or landscape roses. To see a four
by six inch picture, click on the image. Take a good look at
Simplicity - that's as good as it gets in Colorado!
